My name is Velena Thompson and I am an on-location, natural-light lifestyle photographer. I use both film and digital formats to capture your true spirit and celebrate your life. I believe “a photograph is not just a reflection of what you look like, but rather who you are”. Some of your favorite images of you, your friends and family are those taken candidly whether on the beach, a park or your backyard, these images have a lasting impact. We are fortunate to live in an area where the locations are limitless. The photographs that I take have a relaxed, casual feel and reflect my personal style. I rely on minimal posing and I avoid that say cheese kind of smile. In an effort to capture a subject’s honest emotions and true self, we use a warm, relaxing environment where individuals and families feel at ease to just be themselves.
