What is an on-location photographer?

Dragonfly Portraits will take photographs of you and your
family at a special or preferable location. For example: the
comfort of your home, in your garden, your child’s favorite
park, the beach (you get the point).
• I also offer a portable studio with either a white or black
background options.
• On-location – this has proven to be a very popular option
as far as children go. They are most often at their most
relaxed when they are concentrating or at play.

What does the session fee include?

The session fee pays for the photographer’s time, talent,
the session, the image processing, retouching where
necessary and your order processing. You will be able to
View your proofs on-line for 30 days, and recieve one
8”x10” print and two 5”x7” prints in the photograph of
your choice. The session fee is applied to a family of 5 and
there is a $15 fee for each additional person.

What are Dragonfly Portraits Policy and Terms?

A $75 non-refundable retainer is due at the time of
scheduling the photo session and will be retained if the
event or session is cancelled or rescheduled. We understand
that occasionally things arise and you may need to
reschedule your appointment. All we ask is that you contact
us at least 48 hours in advance, so your session fee can be
applied to another date. All no show appointments will
forfeit their session fees.
Dragonfly Portraits reserves the right to reproduce,
publish, and copyright each image. All images are protected
by federal copyright laws.

How long after the photography session will it be to view my photographs?

In about 7 – 10 days after your session you we be
contacted by Dragonfly Portraits letting you know
that your photographs are ready to be viewed on-line.
Your on-line proofs will be available for viewing for 30
days. Your proofs are edited by cropping, removing any
unwanted items, red eye, blemishes and any special effects
that you have requested.

Do you offer special techniques, Black & White and Sepia?

Yes, we offer a wide variety of options when it comes to
creating a one of a kind family portrait. Vignettes, warm
color, dou color, sepia tone, black & white, half black &
white, high contrast enhancements included with you
session.

What can you tell me about the type of portrait prints I will be ordering?

We offer a wide range of investment options to meet your
needs. All of our portraits wallets and larger are luster
sprayed and portraits 11x14 and larger are styrene
mounted to prevent warping. Metallic prints, canvas gallery
wraps, storyboards, art strips and collages are also
available.

Do you have a Referral program?

Yes, we have two. If you check out the Promotions page
you’ll see it’s how it works. Just print out the card and put
your information and your friends name on it. Have them
bring it with them to their session and you’ll receive a $15
gift card redeemable at your next your next session. And

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes, gift certificates are available starting at $15 and up.
These make a great gift and leave the person receiving the
certificate free to choose how they will spend it. They can
use it as part or full payment for a session fee, session
package or on any of our print and framing products.

What should I bring to the session?

Feel free to bring your own props, toys, favorite blanket,
stuffed animal, book, anything that you would want to
personalize your portrait.
